Course Overview
Digital literacy has been widely discussed over the last two decades while artificial intelligence (AI) literacy has become an increasingly important topic in recent years. Digital literacy is a foundation of digital language teaching and empowers language teachers to use digital tools in language teaching. This talk explores the following questions: What is digital literacy? What are the elements of digital literacy? What is AI literacy? What is the relationship between digital literacy and AI literacy? How can language teachers develop their digital competencies? It will also discuss challenges with digital literacy and strategies for language teacher development.
